Royal Chamber Orchestra Concerts in Cracow 29/06/2018

The Royal Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2007 by Sławomir Prokopik. Ever since, the group has toured the world over, performing classical music by the famous master composers like Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart as well as Brahms.

At the moment, the orchestra has set its venue at the magnificent St. Adalbert’s church. The church is a historic setting which dates way back to the 10th century.

In fact, it was partly reconstructed in what is known as Baroque style in the 17th century.

This venue offers you the best opportunity to enjoy classical music from history’s music geniuses. Furthermore, the high-domed ceiling compliments the natural acoustics that adds uniqueness to the relaxed ambiance of the venue.

The Royal Krakow quartet is made up of young artists, students, and graduates from the Academy of Music. Apart from classical music, they also perform jazz pieces and contemporary film scores. 

The quartet has performed in a number of cities across Europe and other parts of the world. Also, the group released its debut album in 2009. Current members are:

  • Kamil Skicki-the violinist: He is a soloist, performing in musical theatres and in concert halls around Poland. His famous repertoire is mainly from operettas and musicals.
  • Anna Jablonska-second violinist: She has performed in many parts of the world and collaborated with a few renowned musicians.
  • Anna Migdal Chojecka -viola: Anna Migdal has won numerous awards and in 2004 she received Minister of Culture and National Heritage Scholarship.

Mostly, her performance consists of both orchestral and chamber music. In fact, she has collaborated with a number of famous conductors during her music career.

Concerts take place everyday at 6 p.m. at  St. Adalbert’s church.
